Ginger Moon Canteen Restaurant Review

I use to rank Ginger Moon as one of my Top 3 restaurants for Seminyak in Bali, but I now have to rethink this. I went there twice on my last trip in April and at least once before, in January.
The location and atmosphere is awesome. So are the staff....great smiley people working in a high volume place. But it has lost its glow and meaning, particularly from what comes out the kitchen...when it does....which is slow.
A lot of toe-tapping when waiting for drinks too.
But it still hangs onto that kind of "Colonial' charm and it really is a destination and not just a restaurant.
Food was not "wow" like it use to be, but that's okay. May be it will turn the corner again and come back to its brilliance. If not...there are a few kitchens close by that will stream roll it.
The food is nonetheless good, so like Douglas McArthur, I will return. One more time. It is a great place to eat at. For now.
No matter what, Ginger Moon will remain a place to go always. I suggest you go there too. Not much compares to it.
